The new year is always a time of new hope and lofty dreams. Teachers are certainly never immune to wanting to become more for their students. But before you run off and cram your to-do list too full, I'd suggest reading a great book. Although it may seem to have little to do with this website, "Adventure and the Way of Jesus" is the kind of book that challenges the reader to stop and take stock of him or herself before offering anything to others. Based on the idea that we can only give what we possess, this book helps the reader to honestly self-reflect and rewards him or her with a greater understanding of what s/he can truly offer students.
